Pedemonte is a fraction of the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, in the province of Verona. It stretches along the south-eastern border of the municipal territory, connecting San Pietro in Cariano with the municipality of Negrar to the east and Verona to the south.
Between the end of July and the beginning of August, Pedemonte hosts the sagra, a popular festival with live music and food and wine banquets, dedicated to the town's patron saint: San Rocco.
Between 25 April and 1 May, Pedemonte hosts the traditional 'Festa dei vini classici della Valpolicella' (Valpolicella Classic Wine Festival). There are many other events linked to the world of Valpolicella wine, among which, since 1998, the 'Magnalonga', a food and wine walk along the hills, which attracts thousands of enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad.
