Typical dishes and traditional flavors

The typical dishes of Valpolicella are generally linked to the various periods of the year in which it is customary to celebrate certain anniversaries, or to the performance of some typical operations.


Traditional dishes range from noodles in broth with livers, tripe in broth, polenta brustolà and renga (toasted polenta and herring, typical of Lent) to finish with polenta and formàio (polenta and Monte Veronese cheese).

Pearà is definitely an east to taste if you go from Valpolicella, but also polenta, accompanied by meat, cold cuts or cheese.
