MARCH 8.
The city of Verona celebrates International Women's Rights Day with more than 70 events. Not only on March 8, but between February 26 and May 5, the city counts a calendar full of initiatives and events in common aiming to include women's perspectives in all dimensions of city life.
Here are some interesting activities to participate in:
DAILY EVENTS
- WALK THE TALK, TALENT ON TOUR
On the morning of March 8 in the city of Verona, Walk the Talk, Talent on Tour opens. This tour is aimed at women with the purpose of discovering all those places where talents can meet the job market. - I THOUGHT I HEARD A NOISE
At 8:30 p.m. on March 8, the famous Camploy Theater at 32 Cantarane St. hosts the talk and concert dealing with the gender gap in the music industry. The event is titled "I thought I heard a noise" and is sponsored by the Gender and Equal Opportunity Departments.
- CITY MUSEUMS
All women, on the day dedicated to them, will be able to enter the civic museums and inside monuments such as: Arena, Juliet's House, Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery, Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theater, Castelvecchio Museum, G.B. Cavalcaselle Fresco Museum, Natural History Museum and Maffeiano Lapidary Museum.
EVENTS IN THE EVENING
In addition to the events scheduled for the morning and afternoon, you can also participate in the many evening events organized by Verona's most popular nightclubs. Here are the ones scheduled:
