All confirmed: the passionate reenactors of the Confraternita del Lupo di Montichiari return to Lonato del Garda for the third time, with the second edition of “A leap into the past. Siege of the Rocca”, the historical reenactment that was a huge success last year and saw the Visconti-Venetian Rocca transformed into a battlefield.
The event – also organized in collaboration with the Ugo da Como Foundation – will take place on Sunday 30 March 2025, from 10:00 to 18:00 and will involve almost 200 reenactors who will entertain the public throughout the day.
The opening of the fields and falconry is scheduled for 10:30, and it will also be possible to participate in the educational activities that precede the first declaration of war at 11:30.
During the day, as anticipated, it will be possible to carry out various educational activities: axe throwing, archery, medieval board games, as well as themed workshops promoted by the Foundation at the ornithological museum and the events pavilion inside the Rocca.
A new feature of the 2025 edition will be the archaeological activity: an excavation point will be set up outside the Rocca where children will be able to dig and bring to light some archaeological finds.
