On May 24 and 25, 2025, Malcesine in Fiore returns, a floricultural event that has been appreciated by tourists and residents alike since its inception, filling the town's historic center, Father Mario Casella Gardens and the Palazzo dei Capitani with a multitude of colors and scents, with many varieties of plants and flowers, thanks to the high participation of floriculturists from all over Italy.
During the two days, geraniums, lilies, freesias, camellias, tulips and primroses, just to name a few, will be available for purchase, as well as indoor, garden and fruit plants and some rarities not to be missed. From Sicily will come lemon and orange plants, from Tuscany azaleas and rhododendrons, and, again, oriental Bonsai trees, colorful roses and precious orchids.
One of the hallmarks of the event has always been its focus on trends in green style over the years. Such as the habit of growing herbs at home, to be used in the kitchen to prepare tasty dishes: from rosemary to basil, from thyme to coriander, passing through sage, savory and the many varieties of mint.
All the floriculturists present are producers, so it will be possible to buy directly from them, without additional steps that would incur additional costs. They will also provide advice on how best to grow the plants they produce.
The small town of Lake Garda, already rich in flowers, with this event affirms its special splendor, thanks also to the floriculturists' exhibits. There will also be no shortage of artisans with special products: from wrought-iron garden animals to handmade pots to hold plants, flower-themed hobbies and bijoux.
