PALIO DI CHIARETTO: the pink that pleases.

FRIDAY, MAY 30 TO MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2025

Goblets of Bardolino in its rosé variant are offered at the Palio del Chiaretto, a highly renowned food and wine festival on Lake Garda.

Bardolino for four days is colored pink and will give you a unique experience with local tradition and deep knowledge of our grapes with tastings.

The Palio del Chiaretto is the event that well amalgamates all the food and wine and cultural historicity of Bardolino and attracts thousands of visitors from all over Europe. The pleasant environment of the “Bardolino Chiaretto Doc” production area is that of the Veronese Gardesano territory covered with vineyards and olive trees. The grape varieties that contribute to the production of Bardolino Chiaretto Doc are: Corvina veronese 35-65%; Rondinella 10-40%; Molinara, Rossignola, Barbera, Sangiovese, Marzemino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon alone or in combination.

How is Chiaretto produced? It is necessary to watch over the must to separate it from the skins at the ideal time of absorption of aromas and color. The pink vinification of red grapes by us is the result of local tradition and a deep knowledge of the characteristics of our grapes. This is followed by careful fermentation at a controlled temperature to maintain the characteristic aromas of the grapes. “Bardolino Chiaretto Doc” sparkling wine made with natural fermentation methods can be designated ‘Spumante Brut,’ the first of its kind in Italy.
