The 2024 edition of the Festival of Painted Bodies will take place in Riva del Garda, on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 June, right in the town centre.
Various artists specialised in body painting will meet, putting their skills to the test with various painting techniques. Around 30 national and international artists will be present. The event features a bodypainting contest, where all the artists can be seen at work. On the two evenings there will also be a show where the works created will be exhibited on stage and the Italian champions for each category will be elected.
The Italian Bodypainting Festival, the Italian championship of painted bodies, is the most colourful event of Lake Garda and is international in its kind, where different artists specialised in body painting meet in a friendly challenge, putting their skills on the line with techniques such as brush painting, airbrush or special effects. The public, more and more numerous every year, proved to appreciate the skill and dexterity of the painters, who transform their models into a living work of art in a matter of hours.
