Who are we? Farmers; or rather winegrowers and winemakers.
Since when? Practically forever, as can be deduced from the documents that bear witness to when, back in 1536, Bortolo Meneghello cultivated his vineyards in the hills of the Alpone valley. Today, after 13 generations, as the last descendants of these people, we take up the inheritance and the intimate tradition of the Meneghello family, lavishing passion, culture, resources and hard work into the cultivation of the vineyards.
Indeed, for our wines, we want to know how the grapes are produced, with what criteria, from which vineyards they come. Even before that, however, it is essential to make the right varietal choices as they will be the expression of the terroir.
This is where the intrinsic bond that unites the winery with its vineyard comes into being.
It is only from these premises that in the cellar, working with care, delicacy, meticulousness, patience and dedication, we can obtain wines that will give the right satisfaction to our customers, and at the right price!
