Although tourism activity is significantly reduced in colder months, on Lake Garda there is no lack of opportunities to have fun, especially if you are a lover of sport and nature.
When Mount Baldo turns white, with the panoramic cable car open 10 months a year, you can quickly reach the ski slopes, enjoy some beautiful walks with snowshoes, or practice excellent ski mountaineering; all with lake view!
On Monte Baldo you will find four ski slopes with multiple variants.
You can ski on medium difficulty tracks such as the Colma and Pozza slopes, or tackle the two steep walls of the Prà Alpesina.
For beginners there is a perfect baby track to learn, the Donald Duck. The track is always exposed to the sun.
There are also a ski school and rentals where you will find skis, snowboards, sleds and snowshoes.
Snow aside, in the hottest winter hours you can climb the cliffs most exposed to the sun or take some walking or mountain biking trails on low-altitude paths that are always clear of snow.
