The Parco Grotta Cascata Varone (Varone Waterfall Cave Park) is located about 3 km north of Riva del Garda, in the direction of Tenno, and is a real natural treasure.

A visit to the Cascate del Varone waterfalls includes several observation points from which various views can be enjoyed. The first view is from below, through the Lower Grotto: from here it is possible to observe the waterfall in its final phase. The second observation point, on the other hand, is located 40 metres higher up, in the Upper Grotto, from which one can admire the Varone Waterfall in the midst of its fall.

The cave and the waterfall are located inside a private nature park, which has remained intact over the years, thanks to the excellent maintenance and care work of those who have taken care of it over the years, starting about a century and a half ago with the construction of the first infrastructure (1874). Before that time, in fact, there were no paths that today allow one to enter and climb along the mountain and the waterfall could not be visited, except by ascending the stream directly into the water, or by observing it from above hanging from ropes, assuming, of course, that one had been an experienced climber.

Today, thanks to paths, small bridges, balustrades and a winding staircase, this impressive spectacle of nature can be visited by everyone.
